LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETINGS
Pursuant to the Workforce Innovation Act, notice is hereby given for the following upcoming meetings. The purpose of these meetings is to discuss issues relevant to the local Workforce Development System.  Meetings are open to the public in accordance with the instructions below.

Individuals with disabilities who need auxiliary aids or services to facilitate participation in these proceedings should contact the Northwest or Southwest Tennessee Workforce Board to discuss available services.  Such contact may be in person, by writing, telephone, through this website’s contact us page, or other means and should be made a minimum of five (5) business days prior to the scheduled meeting date to allow time to provide such aid or service.  Hearing impaired callers may use TN Relay 711.

Upcoming Meetings:

PUBLIC COMMENT: Members of the public will have the opportunity to comment on agenda items at the beginning of the meeting during the public comment period.  Speakers are limited to three minutes during the public comment period portion of the meeting only.  All comments must directly relate to agenda items.  At the discretion of the meeting Chair, speakers whose comments do not relate directly to agenda items will be instructed to comment on meeting agenda items only, or they will be asked to discontinue their comments.  Meeting agendas will be made available at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the meeting through this website. 

To request access to the meeting information or request agenda time for the public comment period, please contact us through this website, in person, by writing, telephone, or other means, a minimum of two (2) business days prior to the scheduled meeting date.  Individuals must specify the agenda item(s) they will be commenting on.  Approval of requests to be added to the public comment section of the agenda received after the deadline will be at the discretion of the meeting Chair.  Individuals seeking to make public comment are required to sign in prior to the commencement of the meeting. Individuals that do not follow these guidelines will be asked to leave the in-person meeting and may join via Zoom.
